I've finished packing today and all my furniture is ready for transportation, finally. So tomorrow will be the big day of moving, my flat is going to be ready for painting. I'm all excited, well not about the fact that I'm not going to get a flat of my own, but it's better than being homeless lol
Nah, just kidding... I'm so glad that I'm moving in with one of my best friends, yet I'm not thrilled about the fact that she's the mother of a 2 year old child!!! I'm not good with kids, at all. We'll see how well the constellation will work out, I'm hoping for the best and fearing the worst....

Hey again!

So I finally gave up on my assignment, it's not possible to finish it until tomorrow. I couldn't even understand one sentence of the gender theories they forced upon me. I'm a bit disappointed right now, but when I think about it... who cares lol

That's why I have time to do some fun stuff today, which means I'm going to make some badass-y icons, plus some even badass-ier headers for my dear friend cking1575

The break down and good news...

Hey guys!

I'm freaking out right now! It seems like my comic colleague has vanished from the face of the earth. She isn't replying to any of my messages and I'm really worried by now. Fate is on hell of a bitch these days, at least when it comes to finishing the comic issues.
Courtney and I have been working for over one year on the ideas of 3 great stories, but we'll never finish even one issue, I guess.
Anyway that was me rambling about the lost painter!^^

Good news now... I know that I've promised a thousand times that I'll start writing fanfiction this summer. Well, summer is almost over, but so is my writing block. September 15th will be the starting shot for my writing marathon, which basically means that I'll start on my first Fanfiction story. (this time for real lol) I'm planning on uploading my story after I have finished all the chapters...

Puppy love

Greetings!

My sister bought her new puppy today and I'm already in love with it! It's a Rhodesian Ridgeback and even though it's going to be a fairly big dog (they used to be trained for lion hunts in Africa), the puppy is still mostly eyes, fur and wrinkles!^^ The dog's name is Pakko and I hope to get some good shots of him pretty soon. The pretty little thing is destined to be my newest model!

Just a short update... best f**ing day ever!

Greetings!

So I'm really busy right now. The exam weeks are coming up and I'm nervous like hell, other than that I've two pretty complicated papers to write. Nonetheless I made some plans for the 3 months of holidays that I'm heading towards to. It's mostly about writing... starting a new novel, finishing a couple of the comic scripts that I've abandoned this semester and finally delving into the depths of fanfiction. I already got the promise of support from (the awesomely nice) cking1575 so I'm going to pull my courage together and write some stuff. Most likely going to be Chlollie or Chlean stories, since you guys here on livejournal kinda supported my addiction!!!

Okay so today was the best day I've ever had in my live (next to the day of the AC/DC concert last month)
First of all I won some Pinocchio 70th anniversary gifts, which is awesome cause I'm a total Disney-freak. Next my boyfriend brought me cupcakes! He even got the right flavour!
And finally the best thing happening today was meeting Michael Stavarič. He has been reading out of his new book in one of my courses. We got to ask him all kinds of questions and talk about his work and life as a writer. He really gave me hope about my intentions of being a published writer. He encouraged me without all the ridiculous words about how you just have to have some talent and everything is going to happen just like *snaps imaginary fingers* that. I'm deeply impressed by this person and, I think, I'm still in a wow-kind-of-state. So my eagerness to start the new novel pressures me into action right now. Unfortunately, university keeps me busy for another 2 weeks, I hope that this excitement won't deflate until I have some actual time for writing...

Fluently 3, German, English and French. I used to speak Italian, but I've been kinda lazy with it, so I'm not as good as I used to be. I had Latin and Middle High German classes too, but I can only translate written texts. (but who cares, those are dead languages anyway haha)

So this is the picture of the day for me. I laughed for almost one hour, when I came across the funny pic.
I love it, because lederhosen were actually invented here in Austria and no one I've ever seen in them looked better than Dean. (no not because he is helplessly strapped down on a freaking Frankenstein table-thingy) And yeah I'm actually a sucker for traditional costumes.

Okay so I'm excited like hell and seem to drink more coffee then usual, which is practically impossible. I'm nervous and my stomach hurts, god damnit I feel like a little girl on Christmas!
But what can I say, I've loved AC/DC even before I was born. Thanks Mum and Dad by the way!
Okay so tomorrow I'll be going to the most important event in my life. Yeah, it is even more important than my own wedding, cause I really don't want think about my own nuptials yet.
Well anyway what music are you listening to? And don't laugh about my excitement, cause an AC/DC concert is rarity here in Austria.

Okay so guys could you please look at those 2 pics and tell me what you think about Chloe's pose. In case you don't remember this is one of the the last scenes of the episode, when Clark left the new Watchtower-building, after telling her that Clark Kent is dead.

Could you please enlighten me, cause I have a certain bad feeling about this pose... and hopefully it is just my imagination!!!

Smallville Season Finale Discussion

Spoilers Ahead!!!

I definitely don't have enough OMG's in store to express my excitement! The Episode was earth-shattering, well you know not entirely but still.
Okay so my death prophecies turned out to be right. I just knew that Jimmy and Davis would have to cross the Jordan, but the short lovey-dovey reunion of Chimmy came totally out of the blue, at least for me.
Haha well Jimmy really is an unlucky guy, it just turned out that he wasn't a loony, about the whole Davis/Beast story and just as he learns the truth about Clark and gets his girl back, he dies! As a hero, though. Him saving Chloe was really sweet and Lois was wrong, not just Clark can save Chloe.
Another *gasp*-moment was when Lois grabbed the Legion-ring! I mean what the hell?????? She's been sent to the future!?
What do you think of the "death" of Clark Kent and the disappearance of the JL? (and what's with the pose of Chloe? The unborn baby hugging thing?)
I missed the Doomsday vs. CK action... not much Doomsday in Doomsday, I must say.
Okay and now the ultimate shock for me (besides Lois vanishing) ZOD is back!!!!!! *hides in fear*
Damn now that's going to be one helluva season 9!!!

So now, you fellow Chlollie supporters out there, on to the important stuff... the future of our ship.
I don't think it is about to sink, although the look of Canary at the funeral was more than emotional! (and OMG Ollie's single tear, it broke my heart...) And how come there is always a funeral "stand off" in Smallville? This time between Ollie and Clark...
In my opinion Chloe and Oliver were the most conflicted characters, besides Clark, in this episode, it was all about loyalty and trust. Who trusts whom, where do their loyalties lie? In the end (funeral scene) the JL embraces Chloe in some kind of way, at least that's the way I see it. I mean Chloe even calls the new Watchtower their home. So I have still hope for a future of Chloe and the JL as well as a possible Chlollie, what do you think?

So here I am again and I brought you some goodies. Well, at least I hope you will think of them as goodies. I wanted to show you some of my better shots that I took with my crappy camera. So here we go...

I'm pretty obsessed with clocks and watches, especially older ones. So I thought I could combine two hobbies of mine. Isn't it a beauty, I absolutely adore the face. Unfortunately I don't own this marvellous piece of craftsmanship.

Ah yes the Wacken Open Air in Germany. I had a great time there and obviously so did those 2 chicks. I was freezing my ass off and had almost been hit by a truck, just to get this shot. It turned out pretty decent, I guess.

A shot from my darling city, Vienna. I can tell you, this crackles with inspiration, it is such a wonderful city to live in, especially for artists. Everything about this place seems so artistic, well at least from my point of view.

Who I am and what I do

Greetings strangers!

This post will be my introduction to all the people who might stumble across this journal.
First of all the name's Morrygan or Morry, if you like, nice to meet you.
I'm an 22 year old Austrian - no not Australian - small town chick, currently living in the big city, Vienna. I've lived here for almost 3 years now, with my cat "Sprinkles" and my best friend, the coffee mug. Yes, I'm an absolute coffeeholic, I wouldn't even survive 2 hours without a fix.

So this is what I do, working on my masters degree in German philology and writing comic scripts for a dear friend of mine, the greatly admired EmeraldStarr. You can either find me in the library or in my study, buried under a huge pile of books, brooding over a script or reading weighty tomes.

Other than that I love strolling through the city - preferably at night - taking pictures of architecture or going for a walk with my friends.
I'm a bit of a cinema junky and I love to talk in quotes, which leads me to my Weekly Quote Poll article, but more about that later...
Lately I've fallen victim to the enigma called TV-show. I mean, I watched several shows before, but the new Smallville season, as well as Supernatural caught me off guard and I'm positively obsessed with them now. I'm also a great admirer of fanfiction which is partly the reason why I joined livejournal, just to keep up with all the great stories I'm reading on here.

I wanted to have some sort of a weekly article for my journal, so I made up my mind and thought about things I could talk about endlessly. Finally a muse kissed me or an epiphany hit me or whatever you want to call it and I came up with the Weekly Quote Poll.

Every Monday I'm going to list 5 movie/tv-show quotes. Free to vote for the funniest, most awesome or simply spoken, the best quote. I'd be glad if we could talk about the movies/tv-shows, that I took the quotes from, you know, exchange opinions and critique, etc.

So from next Monday on I'll cross my fingers for some lovely comments and conversations.
